All my surfaces undergo energetic changes and transformations. Glazes and mixed clays may be applied pre- and post-bisque firing. The tension between the messy handmade forms and glaze phenomena brings into focus my emotional responses to external stimuli. These mixed techniques allow me to build up the surfaces without multiple firings - always aiming to keep ecological and economical as low as possible.
