WITHOUT PAINT PAINTING
THE CERAMIST'S PARADOX
"with out painting paint" are the rare words that the artist Robert Ryman only once wrote on the four corners of on one of his early white paintings . Years later, with his unique white strokes he painted over these words.
In this series and in tribute to Robert Ryman's monochrome-not-so-monochrome paintings, all forms of ornmentation and interpretations are left out. The canvas shapes are made to be either waiting for something or recording the disappearance of something past.
